When is Vélo! Vélo!?

- What is the cost of Vélo! Vélo!?
None.
But we ask for a $5 voluntary contribution per day or $10 for the weekend.

Who can go?
Anyone. But Vélo! Vélo! is of most interest to people who work or volunteer at bicycle coops or community bicycle shops.
- What is a community bicycle shop?
It's a shop where you can bring in your bike and learn to fix it yourself. There are at least ten in Montreal. (See side bar on the right for names and locations). - Will there be food?
Yes. There will be lots of free, vegan food. See the "Program" page for details on when the food will be served. - How do I register for Vélo! Vélo! 2010?
You can pre-register on our Website, from the "Registration" page.
You can register in person between 1:00-6:00 PM at the registration desk in Café Fractal on Friday, Sept. 24th, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. - Where is Vélo! Vélo! 2010?
- How do I get there?
To get into the Sherbrooke building (SH) or the Coeur des sciences building (CO), take the alley immediately south of Sherbrooke, between St.-Urbain and Jeanne-Mance. Enter the SH building from the back to get to Café Fractal (SH-380). The entrance for the CO building is across from the SH building.

- What are the events of Vélo! Vélo!?
Workshops are the heart of the conference. Please see our "Workshops" and "Program" page for details.
- Are there other events besides workshops?
- Will there be booze?
At night-yes. We will be selling beer and whiskey on Friday and Saturday night.
- Where does Vélo! Vélo! get its funding?
From the Generations Pact, a Sierra Youth Coalition initiative.
Université de Québec à Montréal - the SH building (200 Sherbrooke W.) and the CO building (175 President Kennedy W.) between Jeanne-Mance and St.-Urbain. The registration desk is in Café Fractal (SH-R380), which is also in SH building.
Yes. On Friday, Sept. 24th at 8 pm, ///Friction will be performing at Café Fractal.
On Saturday, Sept. 25th, CRAPAUD and Vélo! Vélo! are coorganizing a harvest party with a country theme. Supper will be at 7:30 PM and at 9:00, the Bluegrass band "Canailles" will be playing.
Both the Friday and Saturday night parties will be at Café Fractal.
